Ett samhällsengagemang som Skapar Shared Value - En studie om hållbarhetsstyrning och Creating Shared Value i en svensk kontext

This study investigates the corporate sustainability activity, linked to the company's core business, which is a relatively unexplored field in a Swedish context. The study examines how the organization has used management control for its sustainability activity within two social initiatives; and whether these initiatives have generated value for the organization and involved stakeholders. Management control of social initiatives are examined within the theoretical framework of The Sustainable Balanced Scorecard and the organization's value creation contributions are outlined in accordance with a definition of the concept of Creating Shared Value. The method used for the implementation of the study is a qualitative study, embodied in an illustrative case study of a large Swedish company operating within financial sector. The empirical data was collected through 12 in-depth interviews with representative interviewees within the organization and with other stakeholders involved in the company's social initiatives.

Implementering av delat ledarskap inom en kommunorganisation

This report addresses the management innovation and how shared leadership is a form of it. The report is a compilation of what shared leadership means and how two municipal organizations works with shared leadership. The two minicipal organizations are Strängnäs and Vällingby. One municipality (Strängnäs) is meanwhile this report produced during insertion of shared leadership. The other (Vällingby) has about two years experience of working with this form of leadership.

Inclusive business and shared values : case study of Stora Enso in Lao PDR

Businesses role in society is changing. Corporations are expected to take responsibility, not only for their traditional business conduct, but also for social and political issues. A rise in globalization and international trade has led to an increased interest in the concept of CSR. Accordingly, stakeholders are expecting multinational companies to be accountable for existing issues in developing countries. New business models are needed to meet increased expectations of responsibility and shared value creation. Based on an understanding of the need for new business models a multinational corporation is studied in a local context, where a radically new way of doing business is developed.

Creating Shared Value: Ett nytt fenomen eller en naturlig utveckling av Corporate Social Responsibility? : En fallstudie av Länsförsäkringar Bergslagen

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur elever berättar om läsning och   läsundervisning samt hur de berättar om sin delaktighet i arbetet med sin   läsning. Studien utgår från elevens perspektiv och från ett   specialpedagogiskt perspektiv.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och utgår från den sociokulturella   synen på kunskap, att vi lär i gemensamma verksamheter genom att kommunicera   med andra. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Sammanlagt   åtta elever i år 2 till och med år 5 intervjuades.Resultaten visar på ansvarsfulla elever som berättar om nödvändigheten   i att kunna läsa och insikt om att läsförmåga och att leva i vårt samhälle   har ett samband. De är i det stora hela positiva till läsning och berättar om   flera positiva upplevelser som de får genom sin läsning men läsvanor och   elevernas erfarenhet av undervisning skiljer sig åt.

För vilka företag lämpar sig en etablering av ett shared service center? En fallstudie av implementering av ett shared service center på IKEA

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att utreda vilka företag som lämpar sig för en implementering av ett shared service center. Metod: Under arbetets gång har en abduktiv ansats använts där det varit en kontinuerlig interaktion mellan teori och empiri. Det har gjorts en kvalitativ studie av ett fallstudieföretag med hjälp av intervjuer, facklitteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar. Slutsatser: De företag som är mest lämpade för en etablering av ett shared service center bör vara:? Stora ? de måste kunna uppvisa stordriftsfördelar? Multinationella ? centraliseringen till shared service måste få märkbar effekt? Expansiva ? realisera besparing i personalkostnader ? Lågkostnadsstrateger ? syftet med ett shared service center passar företagets paradigm? Förändringsvilliga ? det är ett stort projekt som måste stödjas av organisationen.

Shared IT Service Center i kommuner

To be able to maintain an adequate ITservice for various users and needs,more municipalities are looking at thepossibility for mergers of local ITdepartments. One solution for mergingmultiple services/functions and creatingsynergy opportunities is called SharedService Center (SSC). The concept of SSCis that the administrative serviceitself becomes a core activity withinthe organization. The aim of this thesisis to provide municipalities who areconsidering a merging of their local ITdepartments with recommendations on howto design the Shared IT Service Center.Recommendations are outlined based on ananalysis of IT-management literature,reports and by conducting a study onthree ongoing collaborations.The conclusions drawn from the studysuggest guidelines for the design of aShared IT Service Center formunicipalities. Shared Service Center : en fallstudie av TeliaSoneras Financial Services

Denna uppsats beskriver fenomenet shared services, varför företag satsar på shared service centers (SSC) och hur de går tillväga när de designar dem. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av en litteraturöversikt och en fallstudie av TeliaSoneras nu pågående implementering av ett shared service center, FSS. Fallstudien består av fyra intervjuer och en genomgång av TeliaSoneras egna informationsmaterial och medarbetarenkäter. Litteraturöversikten visar att shared services utlovar väsentliga förbättringar av ekonomifunktionen och besparingar, att det finns en stor tilltro till dessa löften men att det saknas underbyggda bevis för hur stora besparingarna egentligen är. Designen på TeliaSonera FSS visar sig följa litteraturen relativt noga, förutom vad gäller placering.

Shared leadership is seen as a complement to the traditional one-man leadership and briefly means that two managers share the role that usually is held by a single leader. The study has a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews with managers in human service organizations. The interviews mention the mangers thoughts and experiences about shared leadership and gain approval in the hermeneutic science field. The study is analyzed based on symbolic interactionism where perspectives from the theoreticians Mead and Goffman are used.

The activities will be evaluated with respect to competitiveness and how they can be implemented into an organization.

Att erbjuda största möjliga lycka: en kvalitativ studie av ett parledarskap på en somatisk vårdavdelning

The aim of this study was to investigate leadership in public health care. The methods used were shadowing and semi-structured interviews. The shadowing involved observing the shared leadership of two head nurses in an administrative management position of a ward in their daily work during two weeks. The observation was supplemented by ten semi-structured interviews. A thematic analysis of the data was carried out and the result indicated that shared leadership is a form of leadership well suited for an organisation as big and complex as the clinic where the study took place.
